Hey guess what?  I finally remembered the recipe from home that I forgot a few days ago.  I was really just too embarrassed to come back yesterday and post something since I forgot it AGAIN!  My memory is not so good in my old age!  To celebrate my triumphant return to posting (I know, I know, it's only been a couple of days) and my ability to finally remember to bring the piece of paper from home, let's get back to Bella Ragazza's favorite type of cuisine!  After making a bunch of Asian-inspired recipes, I needed something a little different and found it from Bobby at Blog Chef!  I mean, who doesn't like a good bowl of noodles with some good steak attached?  I see you all nodding vigorously out there.

You know how you look at something the night before and you have the following coversation with yourself because it's totally normal to talk to yourself:

Brain: Oh, hey self...you've got to bring that with you to work tomorrow

Me: Yeah brain, I'll remember that in the morning at the butt crack of dawn when I clearly can't think straight and am still in a sleep fog...no problemo!

Brain: No you won't.  Just do it now.

Me: I will remember.

I hope you all had a great weekend!  My little Bella Ragazza had a dance recital (with all of the other classes at the studio, which equates to a lot of quick dance sets by different age groups and dance styles) which was super cute...they are all at that age where they don't quite know what they are doing yet and they look a little uncomfortable up there in front of a large audience (heck, I would be uncomfortable up there in front of hundreds of people!), but they muddled through and got a rou

Yes!  It's Friday!  It seems like it has been such a long week because last week was short due to the Memorial Day holiday.

You know those days where you want something really good to eat, but don't want to slave over the stove/oven for hours just to make it happen?  That's when the ol' slow cooker comes in really handy.  I mean, how many of you out there could just kiss the creator of this wonderful machine?  Seriously!  Most of the time it's just plop the ingredients in, turn on the temperature setting and off you go about your normally daily business.  Well, when I made these carnitas, it was one of those days.

Whoa!  3 days of posts in a row!  What's going on with me?  Actually I'm trying to get back on schedule...there were a couple of weeks there, where I was haphazardly posting stuff but nothing consistent.  Not that I'm going to be consistent now, but you know what I mean.  Actually it might be best to keep you all on your toes as to when I post.  Maybe the absence will make the heart grow fonder.  No?  Yeah, I didn't think so either.

You know those events or days where you remember exactly where you were when something happened?  Going back in history, events like the day when JFK was shot (I wasn't even a glimmer in my dad's eye yet) or the more recent, September 11, 2001.  We all know where we were and what we were doing on that day.  Well this documentary from ESPN is about just one of those days.

July 17, 1994, a day in sports that was less about sports and more about the white Bronco.

Yeah, you read that right!  I thought I'd come back strong with my first food post in a while!  I mean it IS grilling season and you want something besides plain old burgers right?  Right?  Okay, maybe plain old burgers aren't too bad just the way they are, but it's always nice to mix things up a little bit.

You guys!  It's been 2 weeks since my last beer post and the only reason I remember that is because the post was about the Enjoy by 5.17.13 from Stone and I posted the day before the expiration date!  That's unacceptable!  However, you'll be happy to know that my tasting didn't stop over those 2 weeks so I've got plenty of good beer posts in the hopper!  Speaking of good beer, let's get back to those lovely folks at Clown Shoes, who always have very creative beer names...

Well hello there!  I can't believe it's been over a week since I've posted anything.  My week got away from me last week so let's resume our normally scheduled programming shall we?

I hope everyone had a nice 3-day weekend (for those living in the States)!  Did anyone do anything exciting?  Hopefully the weather where you are at was much nicer than it was here.  Chilly and rainy for the most part here...felt more like autumn than on the doorstep of June.
